Violinist from Ukraine performs on the Siegestor in Munich

Location: Lviv - Munich
Audience: 10.000
Client: Zamanand Festival

The city of Munich organizes Zamanand Festival twice a year. A total of 250.000 people show up during the weekend. TapGig partnered with the organizing team to create an unprecedented live encounter: An artist from a country in war performed live on the famous war memorial Siegestor in Munich. Between her performances of Ukrainian composer Skoryk and the famous German Johann Sebastian Bach, she had a conversation with the crowd on the street. She talked about her life as an artist in difficult times and how performing her art helps her to stay positive. The following day, all newspaper articles about the festival showed her picture. A few lines from the various articles:

Emotional highlight: A symbol for peace and cultural exchange. Using video mapping and the innovative TapGig technology, a bidirectional live concert from Ukraine was projected onto the Siegestor as a surprise.”
